6. How to dry your henna after applying sealant?

A. Here are the two methods of steaming to dry your henna paste.Put few cloves and water in a pan to darken the henna stain. Take steam for around 40 seconds, pause, and then again steam for 40 seconds; don't overdo it for more than 5 minutes. OR Simply roast a few cloves on a frying pan/flat pan and run your hands over the clove smoke.
7. Are Red chemical Henna or Black Chemical Dye Henna safe to use?

A. Nope, please avoid washing your henna with water as it prevents henna stain from getting/turning dark. Instead, apply Aftercare Oil & gently scrap off your henna paste with fingernails/credit card to remove stickiness.

A. No, don't! Avoid direct water contact to the fresh stain until 3-4 hours after paste removal. As, oxidation process takes place especially in the first 24 hours post-removal. So, avoid water contact as much as possible to let the stain be matured fully.

A. Please make sure to freeze your Magical Organic Henna Cone right after you receive them. Only take them out half hour prior to henna application. Otherwise, cover the tip of the cones with pin or tape & put them back in the freezer after every use. Because, these are chemical free cones, so they shouldn't be kept at room temperature.

A. Henna is a coloring agent or dye extracted from the plant Lawsonia inermis. Natural henna consists of a tannin dye, lawsone, which produces a red-orange color when applied. Natural henna is low in causing allergic reactions. However, some cases reported redness and swelling with the henna application.
Henna has been used to create a temporary tattoo because the stains don’t go deep into the skin. Also, there isn’t a risk of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or hepatitis infection.

20. How Long Does Natural Henna Last on Your Skin?

A. The henna stain would last anywhere between a few days to weeks, depending on the area where you are applying and the number of times you expose the area to water. The color then fades away gradually.
For example:
o If you apply it on the back of the hands or tops of the feet, the color will last nearly 2 weeks but will fade away if you wash your hands a lot.

As henna isn’t regulated in Australia, there are chances of adulterating henna with coal-tar dye, such as p-phenylenediamine (PPD), to make black henna. There have been various reports about PPD causing allergic reactions in people.
